It was better than expected... Very clean and well organised. Although too many people in a small place but it's good that I got to know new people.

I have stayed here 12 times since 2009 and I think I will find somewhere else the next time I visit London. The standards have dropped, there is constant building work that starts quite early in the morning and goes on throughout the day. The bedding wasn't up to standard and I didn't have a pillow cover which meant I had to put the pillow under the sheet as it was dirty.

My stay at Smart Russell Square was good, except for the bad conditions of the toilets (which is not a minor thing). These should be renovate and renew. Showers and rooms are ok

We spent a really nice weekend in smart Russell Square! The staff were very kind and it was nice to meet several people from different nationalities
