Russell Square Hostel Reviews page 2
Based on 81 Hotel ReviewsThis hostel is not like most youth hostels which is good because there are not people up partying all the time and making lots of noise. The location is really great and I like the curtain for the beds it helps me sleep a lot. The showers were clean and that is very important and the price is good for the location. It was good for me because it was quite empty when I was staying there but I think it would also be good if it was busy because it is well maintained
2nd stay at Russell Square Hostel. Staff is nice, the rooms and beddings are clean. Breakfast is ok. Wifi works correctly everywhere. The population can be quite young and loud at times, but that is expected in a hostel. Try to avoid rooms close to the staircase or the showers
I found Russell Square Hotel exceptionally good. Everyone was extremely helpful, a credit to Russell Square. Could find no fault
I have stayed at Smart Russell Square twice and the idea of having a curtain beside your bed is brilliant. Breakfast is good, simple but that's what I need. The cups were cleaned by towel in the kitchen, then brought back to where you served the meal, thats the only point I don't like
Smart Russell Square is in a central and quiet location. Not luxury, but good for this price
Smart Russell Square was good and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Would choose to stay again in future
Smart Russell Square is in an excellent location and very close to the tube station. Lovely atmosphere at the common area and make new friends. You can cook as well in the kitchen. I just found the 9-bed room is crowded and no bed allocation, so if you want to get the lowest bunk bed, then first come first serve
A very nice hostel in a good location with helpful staff. Thanks very much!
The communal atmosphere was very enjoyable, facilities were clean and comfortable. A small downside was that the heating was too strong in one of the rooms. I would also suggest offering vegan options at breakfast, such as soy or rice milk instead of cow's milk. Overall an enjoyable stay at Smart Russell Square
The location of Smart Russell Square is great, and it is not as dirty as most of the hostels in London. But rooms are too small (3 people bunk beds) and breakfast is poor
