Northumberland Hotel London Reviews page 2
Based on 60 Hotel Reviewsa good situated hotel near Kings Cross, St.Pancras, linen was clean but no more comfort for 2 stars
Cheap and clean but road noise from outside street
The position is very convenient, due to its vicinity to King's Cross Station. The rooms are tiny and two people can hardly stand between the bed and the door, but also the common spaces are without space. Otherwise, the people are quite kind, the bathroom isreasonably clean and the price is more than fair. If you have low standard and want to spend not so much, this could be exactly the solution for you
I cannot see why its had such bad feedback on here. I agree it is a little run down and noisy but the location is fantastic and the noise is easily drowned out by shutting the window! The bedding is perfectly clean although the room does need a new lick of paint and perhaps new curtains (ours was broken) other than that staff were lovely very helpful and it was a comfortable stay
The staff are friendly and the hotel is in a great location, however the rooms are quite small
The hotel is situated very close to King's Cross station. The staff are friendly. However, it is very noisy from street noise and the room I was given in the basement was surrounded by damp walls full of mould. The two shower/loo rooms had tiles falling off and were far from clean. The bedroom had virtually no facilities - no table lamp, or TV
You will get what you pay for. Clean, cheap, safe. There was no table or something you can put things on, just old dirty fridge and TV which doesnt work. I recommend
Room was full of mould and bed had a big dent in it. Paint was flaking off the ceiling
Cheap and near to Eurostar, but awful otherwise. Even the smoke alarms are covered up
Fantastic location, cheap and friendly. The bathroom were average some better than others. Our room had window views, great for people watching. McDonald's next door
