We stayed at Silk House Hotel for 5 days. A 15 minute walk from overground station Homerton. Very simple hotel with elevator. The room has a lavatory with hot and cold water and a slide window and central heating. Toilet and bathroom to share in the hallway, also a little kitchen to use for guests. Breakfast every morning. Friendly service. Front desk staff is available 24/7

I booked a 3 person room at Silk House Hotel with a private bathroom; as we had to pay as individuals I assumed this would be 3 single beds, not a double and a single. Fortunately 2 of us were in a relationship. There was only 2 towels for 3 persons. We had to share a bathroom. The facilities were old and tired and the bathroom in particular seemed beyond repair, no amount of bleach could overlook the use of polyfiller to hold everything together. Checking in was painfully slow and complicated

The ensuite room we booked was unavailable when we arrived, so were allocated a basic room with a shared bathroom. This was not acceptable and we were moved to a different hotel. The hotel was further away and this messed up our plans when time was tight.

it is really good London accommodation, clean and peaceful. However it is a bit far from city center, transportation is very easy with underground and overground. I 'll choose this accommodation for next trip

I had a lovely stay at Silk House Hotel, comfortable bed and clean sheets. Nice and quiet, room was basic but good for price. Only thing was bath could of done with a scrub as it was filthy with tide marks

The Silk House Hotel is a very nice hotel when you compare it to the price. Us 4 students and I lived there and the staff were always nice and helpful. There was also a sharing kitchen which was very nice but could have some more equipment.

The hotel is very close to Homerton overground station so it takes tops 40 minutes into central London. I would def recommend it!

Loved the bed and TV. The only downside was the shower that had no hot water but other than that all good! 

Silk House Hotel is quiet and nice. Mine was a single room with share bathroom. The room and the bathroom are also quiet good. There is only one limitation that is location. This hotel is in Homerton, you would need about 45 minutes, if you want to go to oxford circus or other places in the touristy area near Oxford circus.

Overall a good experience. A place with a nice and calm atmosphere and comfortable rooms with clean bedding considering the price range for the accommodation.
