The breakfast was inedible and we found better cafes near Hackney Central station. The receptionist didn't have very good customer service skills. The hotel was also very noisy.

I stayed at Silk House Hotel for 4 nights all the staff were always extremely helpful when I needed to know anything. I was really surprised with our twin room it was huge with two comfortable double beds and nice clean linen everything else was clean. The kitchen dining area was very user friendly. It is also located very close to a few different bus stations and only a 5 min walk to the overground which connects you to the centre of the city in no time. Extremely good value for money

I do not recommend this hotel. My single room was very small, the walls are very thin and I was placed next door to the shared bathroom which was more like a public toilet. There was no heating and overall the place was terrible.

Silk House Hotel was ok, it is very accessible to the city or heart of London. Our stay in the hotel is good, only if may a little more adjustment over the breakfast or may little but added more presentation for the guest. But we enjoy our stay then keep up the good business as well. Bye until next time

I had a pleasant stay at Silk House Hotel and a good nights sleep

On arrival I tried to check in but reception wouldn't let me as I did not have the credit card which the room was booked on. I was under the impression that the money would be automatically taken. I had to pay with a seperate card which I found a bit strange also the receptionist spoke little English, which was difficult to sort out. They tried to charge for wifi but to be fair it wasn't as bad as people say in other reviews. Silk House Hotel was cheap and comfortable with a desk to carry out my work

Hotel wanted to charge me an extra 5% for using a debit card, receptionist miserable and unhelpful.

Comfortable room and staff were pleasant. Only issue was that I was charge five percent surcharge for using my credit card.
