The Belgravia Hostel Reviews page 6
Based on 89 Hotel ReviewsVery basic, small room and non functional television. Staff are unfriendly.
Perfect for a London visit. Close to the city
I'm afraid the hotel was very disappointing. There were wet patches on the carpet in the room where the shower had leaked. Stains on the ceiling. The TV didn't work. No tea and coffee making facilities. We needed to leave early the next morning and there was no breakfast available. The bed was lumpy and only one pillow each. There was an extension lead and the fire door was left open despite the sign saying it should remain closed at all times.
1. Location, Location, Location 2. Room neat, clean, uncomfortable 3. Given that I, not my family, was staying, I asked the assistance of the desk which according to info was on 24 hours. I was informed that there was no one on duty after midnight. 4. The door notice also informed about the availability of bottled water. I was told that there was none. Other than that it was a good stay
Not really our style but as we only needed a 1 night stay we managed. We booked a superior room so had our own shower and toilet which was ok but very very small. The bed was very clean, friendly greeting but I wasn't expecting to pay on arrival as I thought I had to pay on check out. I feel that it is more of a hostel and bit of a DIY breakfast.
Reasonably good value for money. Clean, helpful staff. Rooms and bathrooms fairly rudimentary. Location brilliant
We arrived and I was told I could only pay the balance in cash and not card so I had to go in search of a cash machine. I was charged for a double en-suite room but given a double basic room, there was also no coffee and tea making facilities in the room. The television did not work, the window was full of mould and the furniture was full of dust. The bed was a divan bed with no headrest. One of the keys broke in the door and I had to sort the problem out myself as the lady on staff was unable to resolve it. I was very disappointed with my stay.
Hotel is ideally placed for exploring london, very central. The room was good sized but in relatively poor repair. But beds were comfortable and clean. Shower was hot but hanging off the wall and took ages to drain away. The TV didn't work and we had no tea/coffee facilities in our room. It suited us for one night as we literally just slept there. Can't comment on breakfast as we had to leave early
Polite staff and clean! Good for 1 night
On arrival my son and I were made to feel very welcome. We found the room fresh and tidy. Very basic but suited our needs down to the ground. We could come and go as we pleased so we were not restricted on time. We would definitely book The Belgravia Hotel again
