Piccolino Hotel Reviews page 5
Based on 63 Hotel ReviewsI enjoyed my stay in Piccolino Hotel. The rooms was quite small but clean and the people friendly and helpful. Breakfast time from 7.30-9.00 is a little bit too short, I would appreciate until 10.00 a.m. I recommend this place to everyone
The hotel had some good reviews so I booked for two nights for a conference trip. The entrance hall and the stairs are a bit tired but that didn't worry me as all I cared about was the room. The room and en-suite were small but perfectly adequate for me as I only needed it to sleep! At first glance, the room was spotless and so was the bathroom. Nice shiny wooden floors and well dusted furniture too! However: the duvet cover and the blanket were stained and covered in hair, and not just one or two - if you get the drift. When I opened the sheets there were occasional hair there too, and almost had a fit! I asked the receptionist for a new pair of sheets and got them without any trouble. Thankfully the room - being in the 4th floor - was very warm so I survived without using the wig-like blanket. The new sheets and towels - although clean - were very old and not too appealing, but that could be overlooked. The breakfast room was nice and tidy, with a good selection of cereals, juices, coffee/tea and fresh fruit. You could have boiled eggs and a croissant as well if desired. All was accompanied by a few slices of warm white toast. I found the staff very nice and friendly, no problems there. If it wasn't for the sheets/blanket accident I would stay there again. If you book Piccolino Hotel and you're not bothered by this potential problem, you'll have a great time! It's nice and in a convenient location and everything else was very good
This is a very nice charming hotel in a quite area, which is full of the hotels. Close to metro station, easy access by foot to Oxford Street and Hyde Park. We have booked room for five - get one double and two single beds and one mattress for the fifth person. Room is small, but very nice. We were also happy with the service and breakfast. It is not the cheapest hotel in the area, but I would recommend this one for sure
Great London hotel!Fantastic location (only a couple of minutes walk from tube station), friendly staff, very clean rooms. Breakfast is rather basic. Overall highly recommended!
Clean, tidy and a welcoming atmosphere. The beds were comfy and the room had adequate lighting. Very quaint! Sadly didn't have the opportunity to experience breakfast so would suggest breakfast to be extended until at least 10am, especially on weekends!! Myself and my Australian friend had a lovely stay thank you
Friendly helpful staff, good family room, very spacious for the four of us. Great location. Enjoyed our stay
Room was very small, condition was a bit tatty, breakfast was very poor, we actually avoided breakfast. Staff service was very poor
Nice room, friendly staff at the reception (the breakfast lady was a little grumpy, though), clean, good value for money, would definitely stay again.
Myself and my wife found the Piccolino Hotel acceptable, conveniently located and reasonably priced for the area. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Perhaps the only criticism is that there was no guest lounge, and no availability of a computer for guest use. Also, I would have liked to see muesli, or something similar, in the breakfast selection.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.
