On arrival we were issued with keys to our Top floor room but were dissapointed to discover that the room had not been prepared after the previous occupancy. Returned to reception and were then given a room on the Ground floor which was far superior to the one initially given to us. The outcome was satisfactory.

The staff are friendly and helpful

I enjoyed my stay at Bankside house. I've lived there before when I was a student at LSE. If I come to London again I'd like to stay at Bankside house.

We have stayed at Bankside House before, out of term time on a B&B basis, so this was a first. The studio flat was excellent, though confusingly it is on the ground floor, not the top. It was spacious, very clean, well appointed, warm and comfortable. We could have done with instructions for the baffling ceramic hob (had to get a member of staff), and a tea towel would have been useful. Otherwise, the equipment was fine for simple cooking, and the location is very convenient. A bit noisy, but not too late into the night.

Perfect

The location was brillant, we were very close to everything we wanted to visit on this trip to London. We went to the theatre just up the road, walked down the Thames path to visit the design museum, Hms Belfast etc. Our room was a good size and was clean. Overall Bankside House TopFloor! is a great place to stay and great price.

A fine clean and comfortable room for a short stay. Kitchen facility great - but no proper place to eat. Suggest it would greatly help if the three identical-looking keys provided could be easily identified at a glance - eg with coloured tags

Excellent location. Staff helpful and friendly, clean quiet rooms. It would be my first choice if visiting London again in the near future

I spent two nights at Bankside House Hotel Top Floor and I found it very comfortable. The very central location, close to Tate Modern, gave us the opportunity to visit the Centre of London and the most important attractions of the town very easily

Great location, reasonable rates, we stayed on the top floor in a flat which would make a great base for a sightseeing week in London
