Based on 54 Hotel ReviewsNice, clean, quiet rooms. Flushing the toilet took some practice in order to get it to flush completely. Enjoyed the TV and WiFi access. Helpful and cheerful front desk staff. Close to the undeground. A nice place to stay if you're just interested in a room to drop your bags and have a warm bed at night
Lovely view and great location, and a big, nice room. Dinner excellent value and very helpful staff in the canteen. Receptionist was new - needed a bit more information. Directing guests to the boards by the canteen would be helpful, on arrival, or putting that information in guest rooms
Excellent facilities and superb location. A good range of rooms to suit various budgets
We stayed for a wedding for one night and found the room to be clean, spacious and remakably quiet. Ideal for a one night stay. We were even allowed to check in early to get changed. The shower was a bit old but worked perfectly well. All in all, perfect for our needs at a very reasonable price
Staff at Bankside House TopFloor! were always helpful and ready to assist. My room was clean. Pillows could have been better. It would help if some bottled water was provided. Good value for price
We stayed at Bankside with LSE Top Floor and were really pleased with what we got! Instead of an en-suite hotel room, we had a one-bedroom apartment with a sitting room and kitchen in central London for less than £100. The flat was clean, pleasantly furnished, the kitchen was well-equipped and the bed comfortable. There are plenty of dining options nearby, but because we had a kitchen we used M&S Simply Food, just round the corner, to buy supplies for dinner and breakfast. The money we saved not eating out made the room even better value.
Excellent! Friendly, helpful, pleasant staff. Very comfortable room
The room at Bankside House TopFloor was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the location is very nice; there are lots of amenities nearby, and central London is easily accessible across the Millennium Bridge. I have only three criticisms: 1. The plumbing is not very good. The water pressure fluctuates wildly. The shower is like a firehose, but it sprays water in all directions, and the booth is too small to move. The two-tap sink is anachronistic and inconvenient. 2. The kitchen is under-equipped by way of utensils. There are literally 2 forks and 2 spoons to be shared amongst all the residents. I don't mind having to bring my own utensils to your "fully equipped" kitchen, but it would be good to be warned in advance. 3. It would be nice to have a proper coffee maker, instead of instant coffee.
The Bankside House TopFloor is in an excellent location, with an excellent room and delightful staff.
Staff very pleasant and helpful; room clean and an ideal location for my stay in London. Room rather cold - could have done with some proper heating in it.
