SO Kings Cross Hotel Reviews
Based on 171 Hotel ReviewsWe stayed during a refurbishment so no proper running water, electric or heating. Dreadful hostel but at least it's cheap!
The hotel was excellent and its central location
We stayed during a period of refurbishment so there was no heating, electrics or proper running water. The only positive is that it's cheap and next to Kings Cross Station.
I usually don't write these reviews or care too much about what other people say about places, since I mostly only need a bed to sleep on and that's it, when I am travelling. But this place I simply felt I had to. When I came back later to my room to sleep, I guessed the room would be in order. I got my keep and went up the stairs in this building, which mostly reminded me of a building site, I came to my room. It was not clean at all. The floor was very, very dusty - just like you see it when you are renovating places. The toilet I will not even mention.
I was very disappointed with my stay here. The room I was allocated was dirty and the bedding hadn't been changed. Despite this, the receptionist was friendly and the room was warm. I would not recommend this hostel, only as a last resort and if you're on a budget.
