West Two Hostel London Reviews page 6
Based on 82 Hotel ReviewsIt's not the first youth hostel I stayed in and let me tell you that this one is not worth it. Very low quality
Very cheap, beds ok, Internet ok, but sometimes not working
Fantastic location (close to everything yet quiet), staff polite and friendly enough. On the down side - pretty much no kitchen, no utensils, not even a plate or mug
BAD: - quite old hostel, not in very good conditions GOOD: - kind and helpful staff - cheap, it can work if you are on a budget
The Hostel is well managed and the staff put on a wonderful performance to make each guest satisfied. The duration of stay at this Hostel was long for me. I can say the Hostel is relativly clean and quiet. The Hostel is next to a very small park and plenty of shops, stores and transportation. Underground (District and Circle) less that 3 minute walk. Red line 6 minutes walk. A wonderful shopping mall (indoor) with Theater (3D). The Hostel still needs some improvments in the areas of lighting (curtains), carpets, Eating and sitting area.
The hostel is in a really nice area, quiet and very clean. The sheets and bedding etc were all nice and clean. Very basic but also very cheap. Helpful and very friendly reception staff and free storage for valuables
Good location (close to two underground stations) and nice and affordable shops. Ok for frequent travellers but some people could find it difficult to stay here. Not very clean, all the showers I tried were broken and, to be honest, I dont really think they change sheets before or after every guest arrives (they never asked about what bed I had used or asked guests to sheets to reception, and my duvet was a bit smelly). Staff generally helpful and friendly, although they tend to hide information (e.g. charge for leaving baggage at reception)
Dirty, dirty and ...dirty. Toilets did not work, shower was cold and everywhere was mouldy. .You could not even open the windows to get some fresh air. Staff were nice tough! I would not recommend staying there, if you are able to pay a few bucks more. But with 55 pounds for 4 nights, I guess we got, what we paid for.
We booked an 8 bedded dorm in the West Two Hostel London. Luckily they didn't fill the extra 2 beds with strangers and that made it perfect for us. Apart from the lack of mirrors, everything was as we expected and clean enough
The West Two Hostel London is definitely not luxury but it did provide us with beds for the night and somewhere to get ready. I wouldn't stay for too long but for short, cheap stays in the centre of London, it's ideal. I'd go back
