The Ventures Hotel is about a twenty minute walk from Paddington. The room I stayed in was very clean and warm with 24 hour heating which you can adjust. There were tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was lovely with a very helpful lady always checking to see if we needed anything. We had great time in London and would return to book this hotel again.

Good value for money, in a good location. I will stay here again.

Staff very good and helpful. Location good. Breakfast good. Room comfortable but a bit too small. Cleanliness of room not up to what we expect. Even though a budget hotel, we feel room could be fresher and cleaner, especially the floors

Had a lovely stay at Ventures hotel. The star rating may be a bit misleading, as I wouldn't grade it as a 3 Star Hotel.. You get what you pay for; the room we were in was basic but clean. The bed was comfortable and all electrical equipment was in working order. We didn't go in expecting luxury, but what we got was value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing service beyond what we expected; from small things like providing an iron to use when we enquired whether they have a spare one to providing a full English during breakfast (which was, by the way, amazing. Best coffee I have had in a long while!) when it wasn't on the menu. Located just a couple minutes' walk from both Paddington & Edgeware road stations as well as Oxford street, this hotel was in a great location for everything in London. Next time I'm in London, I will use Ventures hotel again!

Room was cold at night, but apart from that the staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine. The hotel add 10% to the bill if you use any sort of card to pay for it even a debit card

Ok staff at check in. Clean but worn-out rooms. Continental breakfast was nothing more nothing less than expected

Basic, shower curtain not very nice at all. Staff polite. Ok for 1 night stay. Great location for Hyde Park

When we arrived we were issued a key to a room that was not clean, the bed was unmade there were dirty dishes on the bedside table and there was a microwave on the floor. We were asked to leave and return in 20 mins whilst the room was cleaned, when we got back we were given a key to a different room which was ready, but this really made us feel anxious about staying. The room we eventually got was quite tidy but not cleaned well. (the floor had stains on it which could have been mopped up) The bed was quite comfortable and it was handy to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast was fine and the staff were quite helpful.

We stayed in Ventures for 5 nights in a twin room. The main advantage is the location, brilliant, close to the 3 tube stations and 10 min walk from Hyde Park and the price was really good. The breakfast was nice and the hotel was quite clean. Service was also nice! Especially the lady who cooked us breakfast! Room had a washbasin which was a hige plus! Room needs re-painting (dirty walls)and blankets changing, and springier mattresses.
