The bed was too soft, needs something firm under the matress

Up side: large, clean rooms. quiet. Full English breakfast included. Excellent value. Down side: no tea facility in the room. crowded breakfast area with queue. no marmalade. Rooms very hot as all radiators on full.

Great location, rooms are good, staff are nice and helpful.

Very big room, clean and tidy and was very spacious. We were very impressed and would book Stanley House Hotel again the next time we go to London.

Accommodation not as clean as at first sight. No extra's like fridge or coffee/tea possibility. Good breakfast facility

The room was comfortable, but it is strange to have to leave a deposit for the remote for the television. Also, the bathroom is way too small, and with the very high step to get in, it was a bit odd. On and all, not bad for the price

Room basic but at a standard I would expect for the price, although a working shower would not go amiss. A larger room for the breakfast is necessary as there were large queues both mornings. The breakfast staff were also quite unfriendly, although all other staff were pleasant and helpful

I have stayed in a few B&Bs and paid more just for the room. Stanley House Hotel is a value for money hotel, giving good service from check in through to check. The breakfast is just enough to start a day, toast coffee and OJ plentifull. The shower is ok mine neede some attention to the head(descaling) the double room was a good size with a good wardrobe and dressing table and 2 bedside cabinets. Only down side is stairs, no lift, breakfast in the basement and i was on the 4th floor. But overall Stanley House was very good.

My room was ok, shower area too small. pillows were very bad as was the mattress.  Breakfast at Stanley House was fantastic. staff good however staff got a little too loud to early in the morning for the front rooms i thought.
