I have a knack for picking strange hostelries on-line, so my family members travelling with me were leery of this hotel. Their fears were unfounded: we had little to complain about. The staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel was clean, the breakfasts were adequate, and the location is a hop from Paddington railway station and a dozen affordable restaurants. The only complaint would be the tiny shower stalls which were so small a person larger than Size 6 would have great difficulty using them.

I was very happy with this hotel and would recommend it to others. I would happily stay there again.

So Paddington hotel was great, the staff were very helpful and the room was very nice with comfy beds, it's so close to the underground station making it very easy to get places. There are a great range of restaurants just around the corner. I'd definitely book this hotel again

Lovely London hotel, excellent position for tube and visits around London, staff helpful and pleasant, room tidy and clean, only issue we had was being on the 4th floor and climbing narrow steps was really hard work. In all good price, good location and would book So London Paddington again

I love the location of this hotel it is on a classical London square from Mary Poppins very beautiful. My room has its own bathroom and I am able to wash in privacy so I am happy but the bathroom is quite small is why I give 4*. My room is also very comfortable and there is plenty of tea and coffee to drink. There is good internet because I book with TravelStay. There is many many things to do near the hotel and I will definitely stay more time

Just around the corner from the station. Perfect for falling off the train at Paddington and into a hotel, especially after a long flight with heavy bags to pull. Help with cases up and down stairs especially appreciated! Staff also gave us a twin room when I booked a single with cot for my son and myself. Carpets in entrance, lobby and corridors gives a little shabby impression, but shower in room fresh and clean. Wifi free and good signal. My son missed not having a full hot breakfast, and I missed fresh fruit and fresh coffee in the morning. But boiled eggs were still warm. Overall would book So London Paddington again for the same or slightly lower price

After reading older reviews I was very anxious about staying at So London Paddington however it was absolutely amazing for what we wanted, cheap, simple hotel 2 second walk from a tube station. The rooms were basic but that's all you need, toilet, shower, bed, wardrobe and mirror what more could you want. Clean bedding, clean towels lovely. The breakfast was down the basement a very quirky touch and very good use of space. The staff was more than happy to help. All in all a lovely Lonodn hotel
