Sleeping Beauty Hotel Reviews page 5
Based on 198 Hotel ReviewsIt was a lovely room, and the price was reasonable for the room we got. We got everything we needed, the only criticism I would have is that, for those who stay for 1 night, I believe should have a late checkout, as most residents may go out on the night of check in and may not even really get to use the room. So I do feel that should be implemented in the package of those who only stay for 1 night. Other than that, the service was more than satisfactory! Would definitely use again
The room was very clean and warm which is good. However it was basic, it would have been good to have a bedside lamp, as the room was quite dark. The continental breakfast was basic too, for the price there could have been more choice. It was great to have a free parking space
I've been going to this hotel for 8 years now, and I think the staff are very friendly and always try to meet your needs. I am loving it's newly refurbished rooms however I wish the hotel kept the fridge in the rooms
The room was at the front of the hotel which overlooks the extremely busy Lea Bridge Road. The room was OK but generally tatty, i.e. broken waste bin, very loose handle on the toilet and very hot. We could not open the window and had to call someone to do it. The noise from the the street below was horrendous and went on all night, not only traffic noise but people seemed to congregate outside the hotel shouting and laughing. Had hardly any sleep at all. Bed reasonably comfortable but a biscuit for a pillow ruined it. Continental breakfast was cereals and toast, orange juice was nice. Very dissappointing.
Excellent value - small double room but with all you need, kettle, freeview TV, nice hot shower, clean sheets and a comfy bed. Breakfast was basic (cornflakes or white bread toast) but with an unexpectedly good fresh-ground espresso machine. The car park was a bonus. I've not found anywhere for cheaper so close to central London. I'd recommend for those on a Travelodge type budget
My first visit and probably not my last
Very good value for money
The only negative comment would be the breakfast facilities. Both days no cups, glasses available even when asked for, bread kept running out
We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. Very clean and pretty room. There are lots of supermarkets and pubs around. We had a great breakfast in pub named The Drum, and it wasn't expensive. We had a great time
A value hotel north east of the city centre. Reception staff very helpful. Good car parking facilities. Rooms clean and tidy. Our room had a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board and a fan. We certainly needed the fan. Our room was at the front of the building which was quite noisy at night time but as the hotel is on a main road this was to be expected really. Sunday morning breakfast was a bit chaotic. There seemed to be far too many people for the amount of tables. There is a great cafe just up the road where you can get a great breakfast
