Just returned from the Sleeping Beauty Hotel after weekend in London for partner's birthday. It is a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride from Leyton Tube Station but easy to find. The hotel is clean, tidy and efficent for a short break, and it is brightly coloured and vibrant for the area. Remember this is outside Central London and is a budget hotel and you won't be disappointed, we were pleasantly surprised. Good breakfast and nice plasma TV in the room. Stayed in worse for more money. Only criticism would be the walls are paper thin. Overall a good concept hotel for budget travellers who don't mind a commute to central attractions. The bus stop just across the road goes to Oxford Street via Hackney

Basic accomodation but spotlessly clean, good heating and good shower facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Very poor breakfast selection only rice krispies/cornflakes and white bread. Pub beside it called the Drum serves a lovely breakfast! 15 mins walk to tube staion

Good Hotel needs better wi-fi access in the rooms was the only issue, good stay

Very good value. 10 minute walk to Walthamstowe Central tube, which was very convenient. The rooms were clean and were straightened up and the bathroom wiped down daily. The staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all, convenient, just what we wanted, cheap and cheerful, good value, the ideal no frills base that kept our costs down so that we had more cash to spend on our trip

Very clean and comfortable - everything we needed for a short stay

Stopped at Sleeping Beauty Hotel for 2 nights, found the hotel to be very clean - the breakfast however was a non entity, no cups, plates, cutlery, only bread for toast or cereal was available, which you could not have unless you had a plate or bowl

Sleeping Beauty Hotel was good value for money, nice clean rooms good maid service and very pleasant staff

A very pleasant stay. Everybody was so friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast was fine - tea coffed, toast and cereal. The only downfall was the rooms were too hot. When we opened the windows the noise from the traffic was unbearable. Overrall for the price it was a good deal
