Skyways Hotel Reviews page 4
Based on 49 Hotel ReviewsSkyways hotel was a good place to stay for the night, but me and my girlfriend wanted a bath yet the plug was too small for the plughole, and some parts of the floor were uneven. Customer service was good though, and the breakfast included was good too!
We stayed at Skyways Hotel for 3 nights, the standard was average and what you'd expect from a 3 star London hotel, it was good value for money and a good place to stay if you're only sleeping there for a few nights. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. However our room was quite small and we only received 1 bathroom towel each day. Good place to stay if you're on a short break and looking for something cheap
Skyways Hotel was exactly what we needed after a long flight. The room was large but a bit dowdy. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Dinner was also good and reasonably priced. The cost of the accommodation was reasonable. All the staff were professional except for the man on the desk when we arrived. We did not see him again
This is a lovely part of London, Windsor is just down the Road, beautiful villages & lakes in Wraysbury & Datchet nearby, however this was not in a nice area of Slough, and did not like the people in the local area. We booked Skyways because it was convenient and affordable, however this hotel is filthy and stinks. The bar is loud with the worst kind of chavs, and rude boys, there is a car park immediately outside the accommodation that is busy late into the night with loud mouth yobs.
Room a bit tired and bathroom cramped. Water was was not hot
From the outside the Skyways Hotel was great. However our room had damp patches on several parts of the ceiling and walls (possibly where water leaks had occurred). By the window the floor sank every time you walked on it which 1 person had to do as it was their side of the bed. I would not recommend this particular hotel to family or friends.
The sink, toilet and small shower were all at different spots. Toilet did not flush, shower water did not drain in one room. Reported complaint but manager ignored totally. Did not want to talk even, would walk away, no extra towel for 3rd person. Upon asking I was told its locked away. Terrible experience of my life. This hotel needs total over-hauling and new management. Terrible hotel experience. Not reccomended at all.
It was a reasonably priced room in London for a few hours sleep before catching an early flight. It isn't within walking distance from the train or bus station in Slough, and a cab to the airport is about twenty pounds, so that should be considered. The hotel was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, and the water in the shower hot. I believe they had a free breakfast and Wi-fi, but I arrived late and left early so am not sure about either of these. Overall, an adequate and reasonably priced London airport hotel about twenty minutes from Heathrow
Skyways Hotel can best be described as adequate. My wife and I stayed a total of 5 nights - on our way to and from Morocco. On the Positive side we found the hotel clean, hot water and attached was an Italian restaurant and pub. On the negative side - the hotel is very akward to reach with a taxi costing 40 pounds to travel a short distance. There is absolutely no help from staff regarding luggage, directions to tourist attractions and the hotel is very difficult to reach by email. The family running the hotel do not seem aware of their surroundings. For example - Windsor Castle is relatively close but staff had no idea how to get there - they have never been. So, the word adequate sums up the experience.
Skyways Hotel was nice and clean. The decor was a bit out dated. Breakfast was nice and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely stay again, not to mention it is also reasonably good value for money
