Royal Hyde Park Hotel Reviews page 4
Nice clean hotel in London, good location. Stayed here once before would not hesitate to book Royal Hyde Park Hotel again
Good location, approx 2 minutes from Bayswater Tube Station and 3 minutes from Queensway Tube Station. Kensington Gardens near by, as well as plenty of shops and restaurants. It was ideal for what we wanted which was a 1 night stay near to a tube station. We would go there or in that location again if we were doing a one night stay in London
Basic but clean needs plenty of TLC
Clean and friendly. Only continental breakfast but could have plenty, on good bus routes for trains and central London or you can use the tube. Plenty of choice for shops and places to eat in area. Will stay again
Room was clean and had everything there ready for us, but it was a bit small, and very hard to find. Would go again though
For the location, this was fantastic value! It's right next to Bayswater tube station and there's a shopping centre a couple of minutes down the road. The hotel was clean - the room was nice and the beds were comfy. We had a private bathroom which was nice - the ceiing really needed repainting but it didn't matter. The only thing realy needed to be improved was the service. We didn't pay THAT much, but what does a smile cost?! I would definitely use this hotel again. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Royal Hyde Park Hotel was a very nice surprise for me - the entrance was small and hard to find and going up four stories scared me - but I was very well received, which captivated me. The hotel is very pleasant and equipped with everything that you need. Everything clean and brand new. Excellent location specially for business travels. Very good breakfast
Clean Hotel, good location - only 15 minutes from Victoria Station (by metro) 2,5 h walking. All staff very nice apart of one lady on reception, who ignored everybody. Triple room on last floor is a bit noisy room from the air condition outside
Did not have water for 1 day due to mains waterworks outside hotel. However we were not told about this by the hotel staff, or were there any notices around the hotel saying there was not going to be any water. Not given any discount or any extras because of this problem, seemed like staff did not care
My friend and I found the hotel which looked okay from the outside, and then went to the reception to check in to be met by the rudest receptionist who had no manners whatsoever. The room was clean, but very basic, and the shower dribbled and the hair-dryer didn't work. The 'continental' breakfast was just rubbish. All in all, the whole experience of the 'Royal' Hyde Park Hotel was just awful, and needless to say, my friend and I would never stay there again, and I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone
