Rose Court Hotel Reviews page 2
Based on 29 Hotel ReviewsFor the price I got the room I think this hotel is excellent. Clean warm room, friendly staff and the breakfast was ok too: eggs, beans, toast, cereal fruit juice etc. Overall good hotel for the price
Very friendly and helpful staff provided plenty of information. Main hotel area and bedroom was tidy and clean, but a little run down. Bathroom was very dirty; Mould and dirt in the shower and toilet, and a cracked wash basin. The window in the bedroom had also started to rot from damp
A little dingy but good value for money. Clean. Good Breakfast
A good budget hotel, a good room, central location, very friendly staff - value for money
The hotel is in a square off Sussex Gardens just 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Considering the reasonable prices, it was clean and comfortable, with a small lounge on the ground floor, breakfast room in the basement and a lift serving all floors. The continental breakfast was basic but adequate - it included some hot food (baked beans and fried egg) on the day I was staying
The location of the Rose Court is totally brilliant. It is in Paddington so its easy to get around the whole city, even if you don't know it too well like me. The hotel was on the old side but it almost added to the character rather than making it just feel old. I've already booked to stay here again for my next trip in a few weeks time
The Rose Court Hotel is basic but plenty good enough for what I needed it for. Its set in old Victorian houses and to be honest, some of the decor looks like it hasn't been updated since those times, but the staff were friendly and the breakfasts good
The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely, very helpful and always with a smile. Great location, I was working down Oxford Street, and easily walked to work every day with no need to get the train. This is also a very colourful part of London, with a great selection of restaurants selling exotic food. You can even smoke a shisha pipe outside one of the many bars down Edgware road if that takes your fancy. The hotel itself was in a row of beautiful, once palatial, Victorian terraced homes. The room was great, clean and had everything you needed. This is a 2 star B&B, which offered more than you would expect for the reasonable pricing. The bathroom could have done with a bit of updating. But everything worked, and the shower was fine, with very consistent hot water. Breakfast offered - a selection of cereals, toast, eggs and beans, and conserves. Basic but adequate. I would happily stay here again
We received notification that our accommodation was to be changed to the Lord Jim Hotel, Earls Court, as the Rose Court Hotel was over booked. This was disappointing in itself and we were not particularly impressed with our room at the Lord Jim Hotel (especially considering what we had paid!). The room was tiny and the bin in the bathroom was still full from the previous occupants. I had to ask twice for it to be emptied. On a better note, the breakfast was exceptional
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. En suite bathrooms far too small I'm 6ft 3inch tall and I could not sit on the toilet due to the lack of leg room around the bowl, and the shower had a broken door which meant I could not shut the door, also the water never ran hot in the shower. The only reason I give it a two out of five was due to the friendly and helpful staff
