Great location but hotel needs an upgrade.

Our stay at Tommy Miahs Hotel was excellent although only for one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The nearest tube is about 10/15 minutes away walking

I had a comfortable one night stay at Tommy Miahs Hotel. I was in a single room, which was very small but my bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The amenities were basic. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I would stay at this London hotel again and recommend it to friends. For the price, it was what I expected

Nice staff and good breakfast at Tommy Miahs Hotel. Was relatively cheap for London. Decor in room was reasonably tired and shower wasn't great (no hot water, water pressure and broken shower head)

Single room, one night stay. Room was hard to find as it was through a door that only had a fire door sticker on it. Room clean, wardrobe and dresser and fan took up a lot of space. No space in bathroom, such as a shelf to put toiletries but very clean. Unfortunately no hot water when I took a shower even after letting it run for a while. TV had no sound initially but did come on after a while. Only two plug sockets, one on the floor by the bathroom door and one behind the bed, so inconvenient for making a cup of tea and chagrin phone. Overall a nice simply room, ideal for a one night stay.

I would not recommend this hotel. It is in need of a clean, a fresh coat paint, new carpets and the old furniture needs to be replaced. I was pleased however to find clean bedding.

Was a lovely London hotel, staff was pleasent and breakfast included was good. It was a great location with shops and buses nearby. Also a taxi rank next door so can never get lost. Would definitely book Islington Inn again
