Islington Inn is in a good location, clean hotel but crowded room

Nice and decent hotel in London: helpful staff, clean room, basic furniture, honest but satisfactory breakfast

Quick, efficient and no problems with the booking at Travelstay

The rooms are clean and tidy, although a little tired. Maybe a freshening up of decor would help. This is a good budget hotel though at a reasonable price which includes a simple breakfast. I would be happy to book Islington Inn again

The room was perfect clean tidy, we weren't really going to spending much time together as me and my boyfriend were here to see the cites and experience London. I chose this hotel on its cost and location, the hotel is a short walk from the overground and is on a bus route to Victoria so it was ideal for us. The hotel was quiet and breakfast in the morning was simple but it was enough too keep us going. Our one compliant was the lack of hot water on our first night, when we arrived we were told the water was off and it would be back on around 10ish that night which was fine but it never came on and it turned out it had been off for days. We went out the next day and on arriving back we asked if the water was working and we were given an unconvincing it should be. It was working when we got to our room but it quickly turned cold while I was in the shower, this problem really let them down, because apart from this is was a lovely quirky hotel in London

Islington Inn has a very good position. Remarkable breakfast, clean and silent

Decent enough room at Tommy Miahs Hotel but no hot water, and loud noises from the water system when you turn the taps on or flush the toilet. Essex Road outside quite noisy too in the early hours. Room was probably overpriced if I'm honest

It was okay, an issue with the room but they sorted it out

This was a good basic London hotel for our one night stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and it was a bonus to be offered a breakfast at a budget price. I would certainly book Tommy Miahs Hotel again in the future
