Nice view and room facilities. Nice carpets and bathroom and shower. A good idea might be a European adapter in the room for charging mobile phones. The English breakfast was heavy and not very interesting. Otherwise a super area, close to museums and shopping, cafes and pubs. The price was okay as well

Have stayed 3 times at the President Hotel London. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the reception staff are extremely efficient allocating us exactly the type of rooms we requested on booking (ie quiet location). Although the hotel corridors and the bathrooms look a little tired the bedrooms are warm and comfortable. Breakfast was marvellous value as usual and the service was quick and efficient. We have found that the close proximity of the hotel to Russell Square Tube Station is perfect for exploring all the London attractions. We can heartily recommend the President Hotel London and will be back in the next few months

We found the hotel to be satisfying for our purpose: clean and nice and rather centrally placed regarding shopping and communications. However we would have liked the breakfast to contain a little more varieties for example a couple of cheeses and ham. Not everybody likes jams or seeds! However I was quite satisfied with having the chance to make coffee in my room

Room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable, bath and shower fine. Breakfast good, although dining room was a bit crowded. Handy for transport links. Air-con would help. Not up to Hilton standards (or prices) but decent value. I'd stay again

Hotel was ok but seemed fairly disorganised and staff unwelcoming. Very slow check in and no info was given i.e what time breakfast or where breakfast was served. We were asked if we would like a room overlooking the park, thinking this would be a fairly quiet room we said yes how wrong can you be! The staff omitted to tell us there was a very busy road between the hotel and the park as the weather was very warm we could not have the windows open because of the traffic noise making things very uncomfortable for sleeping

I was very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation at this hotel. The location was ideal, just round the corner from the Russell Square tube station, a grocery store, and a relatively inexpensive coffee and lunch take out. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful concerning everything from excursions to tube timetables. The room was a decent size, clean and quiet. The computers in the lobby were difficult to use and not always working. The food was very good. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel

This is a huge, somewhat run-down, impersonal hotel, with no air conditioning and a suspicious attitude toward guests. The breakfast food is adequate, but served on steam trays with predictable results -- overcooked eggs, tough bacon. One can do much better in one of the small hotels nearby on Bedford Street

Good location, Nice rooms, the breakfast is good. A hair dryer would be useful

The hotel has a good location and the staff are helpful. The room we stayed in was small but clean. It could be more sufficient had it have been better equipped as follows:- the lack of any hangers in the bathroom [could be on the inside of the door] and the lack of any shelf in the bathroom is very annoying, as the room is small and toiletries get wet near the sink. Also, the lack of any hooks for hanging coats or umbrellas at the entrance of the room or in the small space between the closet.
