Lord Kensington Hotel Reviews page 3
Based on 49 Hotel ReviewsNice, clean hotel with modern updates in a heritage building. The location is great for tube access. Good variety in the continental breakfast. Staff were very friendly. The bed was very firm so for more than one night might be a problem if you like more cushion.
My boyfriend and I spent 6 nights in this London hotel and it was honestly lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and bright. The bathroom was a bit small but it wasn't a negative thing. The only downside was that our room was directly behind Earl's Court Station so we could hear all the trains and announcements in the mornings which often woke us. In saying that the location couldn't have been better, we were literally 2 minutes walk from the station and there was a main street with supermarkets and restaurants within 3minutes on walking. We would highly recommend Lord Kensington Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at Lord Kensington Hotel when down visiting the smoke for 3 days. It's right next to Earl's Court tube so you can get around town easily, but there are also some cracking pubs in the area and good shopping a few minutes away on Kensington High Street. The hotel itself is pretty cute and although our room was on the 'compact' side, it was really clean and comfy. The staff were a nice bunch too
The hotel was okay. It was clean but small. The tight quarters might be nice for a couple but not sure about for a family. I thought that the staff was friendly, especially the 2 ladies. Breakfast was more extensive then the usual continental breakfast you would get from a hotel here in the states. The breakfast room was small but you could get up earlier to miss the crowd
Good location, windows that opened, adequate room Cons: Front desk not very helpful
Lord Kensington was a very clean hotel. I loved sleeping on a memory foam mattress. Only stayed one night but I was impressed. Lovely breakfast, clean hotel and polite staff. Would stay again
Excellent location close to the tube. The room was spacious compared to many other B and Bs we had stayed in. Room was very clean and appeared to have been recently painted. Bathroom was modern and also very clean
Hotel very clean, staff very friendly. Lord Kensington Hotel is in a very convenient location for Earls Court Exhibition Centre and to use as a base for sight-seeing around London
Hotel was clean and personnel was friendly. About 2 blocks from Tube station. Away from street noise but you could hear the trains and station announcements. Ask for a room above 1st floor. There is a lift. Reasonable value
The Hotel is conveniently close to Earls Court station and the restaurants and shops, but thats it I'm afraid. The lack of maintenance and thourough cleanliness is apparent.
