The hotel is cheap but not cheap enough to excuse the dirty and broken facilities. The full English breakfast consisted of 2 eggs and toast, or toast with marmite. The dining room was in a very sorry state, leaving us unsure if it was falling down or still being built. The whole hotel was in a very poor state or repair.
I did not enjoy my stay here, my room was very dirty and the hotel is really basic.
Value for money budget London hotel, a little run down and dated
Hotel was dirty and musty the cleaner mustn't touch the bathroom and the shower is about 5 foot high being 6 foot could not get my head under! Give a good steam clean everywhere and put new showers in and you have a half right hotel.
Room was small and smelled of cigarette smoke; the TV didn't work, the mattress was hard and the duvet was thin. I felt the staff were also rude and the breakfast was basic.
Shabby, dirty, room smelt of cigarette smoke; full English breakfast was basic. Staff were friendly, beds clean and comfy.
Extremely basic, Shower dirty. would not stay there again
Of course, it wasn't a five-star hotel in London, but I didn't expect it to be one, I was looking for the lowest price. The room was small, but clean and cosy - if you don't want to stay there for the whole day, but just sleep there at night, it's a perfect choice. The breakfast is always the same (two toasts with either an egg or marmalade), which can be a bit monotonous after a while, so if you wish to stay longer, I wouldn't recommend buying it there. All in all, it was just fine
London Shelton Hotel was overall nice, a minute away from the train station and the staff was friendly and helpful. The discomfort is that they offer only breakfast, but we enjoyed our stay anyway
Cheap London hotel with comfortable bed! You can pay a lot more elsewhere! Great location
