Linden House Hotel Reviews page 2
Based on 100 Hotel ReviewsWe found our stay very comfortable for our over night stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Level walk from Paddington Station. We will definitely be back
Conveniently located close to Paddington Station, Hyde Park and Oxford St shopping. Hotel was promoted as being recently renovated yet the rooms were in need of work and the showers were faulty. Our buffet breakfast was 2 choices of cereal, toast with jam, boiled eggs and tea, coffee or long life juice. The free wireless internet was good until it went offline for 3 days
There is no lifts. Breakfast was basic. Wifi, would not work. Plus side, is the hotel is right near Paddington train station and tube which is great way to get around London and if you jump on the 23 bus outside paddington, you will get to see a lot of the sights
Absolute Dump. The floors and walls were filthy, the cloth headboard was covered with stains. Tiny rooms. The only furniture was the double bed shoved into the corner and one shelf on the wall. No air conditioning. Very ignorent staff obviously well use to complaints. Breakfast was down in a tiny basement and they only served green eggs and bread. We only stayed one night and checked out and would not even have stayed that night only we arrived late in the evening. I have stayed in many hotels and this is by far the worst,it is horrible
No problems here. Friendly staff, room clean, price ok. Of course it's a basic room, and a little small but that's just what you'd expect for a budget hotel. Good central location and worth a stay for those on a budget.
Made to feel very welcome. Reasonable rates for the centre of London.
Good location right next to Hyde Park. Walking distance to Oxford Street and hop on/hop off bus right outside the hotel. The room was small but if you don't plan to spend a lot of time there it's ok. Service and cleaning was ok but not more than that
Friendly , helpful staff - they provided extra blankets when asked. Breakfast is a scrum in a small room. The guests were noisy! Not the hotel's fault
Stayed there for one night, hotel is easy access from Paddington tube and in a very nice street. Check in was easy but our room was on 4th floor and with no lift and a heavy case to carry. I was close to fainting once I reached the summit! There was a half hearted offer of bags being carried from the receptionist however! The room was clean but very small. Very, very cold at night as the quilt/blankets were far from adequate. There was a continental breakfast included which we didn't bother having as didnt think it would be up to much if the tea/coffee making facilities were anything to go by - one coffee and one out of date tea bag. Overall rating of stay was just 'alright' for the price. Just glad we didnt stay for more than one night!
Great little hotel, very clean but small room, but brand new modern bathroom with shower, much bigger and better standard than most cut-price hotels. Handy for Paddington station
