Kings Hall Reviews page 4
Based on 116 Hotel ReviewsGood standard of basic bed and breakfast. Could be improved by some kitchen facility (at least a kettle), particularly as the hall is situated in a residential area
Breakfast was sumptous with choice of English or continental breakfast and unlimited coffee or tea
Overall, I enjoyed Kings Hall. It's certainly not a top-quality hotel, but as a hostel, it's good
Basic accommodation, excellent value for money. Procedure for paying the bill at the end of the stay was a bit confusing but we managed to work it out
Basic but clean and comfortable. Staff very freindly and helpful and informative. Breakfast included was much appreciated - especially with two sons! Would have been useful : 1. to have a cup of coffee/ tea first thing in the morning in the room. No ensuite, so this could help! 2. Information of current things to see/do in and around and within the area for that month. It may have meant the difference of treking into London or staying to find hidden gems
Good value for reasonable price. Rooms are small but clean, breakfast is okay as long as you do not need real coffee... A bit noisy - was okay for us
The room was clean, staff very helpful, breakfast fine, secure parking. Noise levels were awful, way into the night.Echoing across the central outside area and inside the blocks as well. Kitchen was a tip-left to visitors to clean,no cleaning products provided. So you buy cleaning products, clean, use it, find other visitors have used it and left it a mess. Rooms have large windows which don't close fully-cold and noisy. The windows aren't double glazed so noise and cold come in
Very good value for money
Nice staff, clean rooms. Excellent
Great value. Minor complaints: Provide info on where to recycle. I had to ask. Mattress springs were too prominent. Offer optional rental of mattress pad? The building is very NOT soundproof. Need DO NOT DISTURB signs to keep cleaners away from late sleepers. There was a problem with even cold water being scaldingly hot. Reduce water temperature for summer? Friendly staff. Is there a lounge with TV anywhere? I will recommend this to young, cheap friends, as it is a great find
