Griffin House Hotel Reviews page 4
Based on 48 Hotel ReviewsA good hotel. The location really is fantastic, a short walk to the nearest tube. The room was clean, warm and cosy. Granted it was small, but if you are there for a one night business stay, what are you going to use floorspace for? I would definitely stay here again
The position of the Hotel is perfect, close to Hyde Park, Oxford Street etc. The room was fine but really small, the bathroom clean but tiny and cold, the toilet had problems with flushing (it almost flooded the room). Breakfast was fine. The place it's ok but only for 2/3 nights
A budget hotel that was good value for money, the staff are friendly and the breakfasts much better than expected
A typical 2 star London hotel, nicely located close to Oxford street and Hyde Park. Even the breakfast was typical, with plus for the egg (boiled, fried or scrambled)
Nice place to stay, staff friendly, location is ideal for seeing London
A clean/comfortable hotel. Ideally located for your London stay
Great little hotel just off the Edgware Road. Hotel looked a bit grubby in the entrance hall but with a new lick of paint it would be acceptable. Booked a triple room which was great - king size bed and single - all nice and clean along with toilet and shower. Would definitely recommend/return to this little gem!
Nothing fancy, but for the price & location it was fantastic. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, rooms small but decent breakfast
Good location, simple but good breakfast. But some problems: room very small, and toilet did not flush properly
This is I think the one of the worst hotel experiences i have ever had. It was my fiancé’s birthday surprise and on arrival we were put into somebody else’s room. The next room we were put in had a broken bed, a shower that you had to hold and walls that were falling apart. Our final room that we were put in also had dirty and cracked walls, a bathroom door that did not close and the draw knobs did not stay in. My fiancé had to screw the shower back into the wall before we could use it as well. All in all it was just shocking! I was embarrassed! And all this I had to pay for!
