Goldsmiths House was good
My stay at Goldsmiths House was pleasant. Nice room for such a good price. Friendly staff
Goldsmiths House was definitely good value for money, especially seeing as the showers and toilets on the 2nd floor had been refurbished (I think they are working floor by floor because the 1st floor was not the same but the ones above were) so they were all new, clean and modern. The staff were helpful and friendly, but most importantly I felt safe and comfortable. The room was small but clean and comfortable and the kitchen was (also refurbished) clean too. Just note that the full address - it is Goldsmiths House, Augustus Street, Park Village East, Camden...etc. The taxi had to spend a few minutes finding it. Other than that I thought it was very good for a cheap, short stay
Good stay in general. Would stay again and recommend. Good central location, friendly staff, secure building. Small room, but plenty of storage space, and enough space to move around, theres a small desk, small shelves, normal sized wardrobe, standard single bed that was raised for more under the bed space where there were 2 drawers and a small bookshelf. A sink, small radiator, under the sink cupboard, half length mirror, spinning chair, pin board, 4 plug sockets that I could count, really good light, bin, good curtains. Single glazing, though it was surprisingly warm with the radiator off. I was overlooking the road so it could get a little noisy, but otherwise it was fine. Room was clean, two big comfy pillows and standard sized towel were provided. Bathroom was good, really good shower with space to get unchanged before the shower cubicle started, there was also a bath! When you get there they hand you the keys and explain what they're all for, but thats the extent of information you get. Would've liked more guidance on the kitchen/canteen etc, as It took me a while to find my fridge and freezer space, as well as my kitchen cupboard. There was 1 plate, bowl, side plate, glass, mug, cutlery set, as well as 1 saucepan and some other stuff but I can't remember. Wasn't sure what to wash up my dishes with as I was only there one night so I wouldn't have bought washing up liquid. There were approx. 4-5 alcoves in the kitchens, each had a full kitchen kitted, so sink, oven with a gas hob, kettle and microwave. Kept very clean by residents and staff, lots of bins for waste as well. The main downside was the ants, there were ants in the dining hall, I didn't see any in the kitchen but there were some in the dining hall on the tables and floors. I thought it could have been a bit cheaper for what it was, but for a few nights, as a hostel it was good. Would recommend, would book Goldsmiths House again

Goldsmiths House was very comfortable, helpful staff, good facilities, convenient central location
Fantastic London accommodation, walking distance from main areas such as Camden, King's Cross or Regent Street. Very near to the tube with one of the main lines (Northern line). Clean, tidy and newly refurbished. Lovely and useful common areas, such as kitchen, living room, dinning room and Internet cafe. The staff, friendly and helpful. And everything for an astounding price
Good stay at Goldsmiths House, quiet and safe place. Kitchen and room to eat, TV and laundry. The team was very nice and helpful
