Generator London Reviews page 6
Based on 56 Hotel ReviewsGreat place to stay in London, location is fabulous and the hostel is clean and friendly. There's plenty going on there at night and it's cheap enough.
Great for teenagers and older. Came as a party of 5 with two boys, 11 and 12 years and had no warning that ID was required for them, so the questioning as to proof of parentage without warning was not very welcoming initially for my cousin (their mother). Understand and fully support the principle, but the web site should be clear and informative on this issue, since the booking clearly gives ages.
Very nice welcome, high quality breakfast and near to all the attraction points. Excellent.
We had a very nice stay at the hostel and think it's good value for money and for such a big place it was pretty clean. Also the people who helped us were friendly (you can't say that of everybody in London), especially the guy with the glasses who sat outside the door, we loved him
Would highly recommend Generator Hostel for cheap accommodation, an excellent place to go if you want to meet people from a mix of nationalities! Really social environment, great bar, and staff are really friendly and helpful! The rooms were OK, bathrooms basic, but served their purpose. Would definitely stay again!
I had such a great time staying at the generator. The bar, the people, everything was so cool!
I was pleased with the accommodation and would book again.
Had a 12 nights great stay! It's so much fun at the Generator, I'm so going back!
Generator is a very social hostel with a cheap bar.
Rooms were ok, clean linen etc.
Bathrooms were not brilliant but besides that nothing really to complain about.
Free breakfast was good, choice between cereals and toast.
Food at the canteen was very cheap and good. The Generator is a hostel so don't expect any miracles, but it's a fun place to stay if you like parties and want to meet a lot of people.
We were a group of 27 people, and we were very happy to stay at the Generator. It is very convenient, being between St Pancras station and the Bristish Museum. Very nice welcome and very large rooms downstairs for the students. Good breakfast. Only some bathrooms were out of order and the twins are not so big. But we enjoyed it a lot, and would definately reccommend the Generator it for individuals or groups
