The four bed dormitory room was very small and the hostel felt cold and very noisy as it had no soft furnishings to reduce sounds. The WIFI connection didn't work properly. No kitchen to prepare own meals. The staff were excellent and the meals prepared by the chef were delicious. The toilet and shower facilities were good and the hostel is in an excellent location

Took my two girls to London for a three day visit and found the Generator to be very welcoming, clean and convenient for getting around. Would use again and will recommend.

Terrible. toilets and showers were filthy, rooms were like an oven and the place was so noisy. This place has put me of hostels. Would defenitley not recommend this place

Excelent stay. Nice and clean hostel.

This hostel is pretty good for young people who do not want to spend much money. It is ideally located in the centre with buses and tubes to all the major areas. The rooms are small but clean.

Well located. Useful facilities. Correct price. Should do efforts to have a calmer atmosphere respected at night during the week

I stayed here with seven friends after our Christmas party and we absolutely loved it! We got an entire dorm to ourselves which was very airy and spacious and the bathrooms were very clean. Great atmosphere, great bar and great staff, couldn't ask for more really!

For being a hostel it was ok, clean and well connected but the breakfast was a bit poor. I have been in other hostels in England and they usually give you cooked breakfast. I like the security around the hostel with lots of Generator staff members around the door during the night

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at the Generator Hostel and it was definitely a good experience. It is by far one of the lowest prices you will pay to be in such a convenient location in London. The atmosphere is slightly cold since the hostel is so large but the rooms are clean and the staff are extremely helpful. The bar stays open very late and is pretty cheap so its nice to come back at night and still have something to do. The biggest negative is the "all you can eat" breakfast which is only cereal and slices of bread. In spite of this, I would still highly recommend this hostel to anyone on a budget
