I had stayed at City View Hotel London before and loved it, so decided to book again. And I found it disappointing this time. Checked in and my room was not 100% clean. There was a trash bag from the previous guest behind the door. Also there was a used towel on the floor in the bathroom. They solved this almost 40 minutes after I told them

The staff at City View Hotel London were friendly and the hotel was in a great location for an event I was attending at York Hall in London. The room I was in was in the basement and was ok but the TV wasn't picking up any channels and also there was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee etc. Other than that the room was comfortable and clean.

City View Hotel London was good value for money. Nice people at front desk. Nice breakfast. Clean room. Have a supermarket next to the hotel and the tube station is in front of the hotel
