This was a great place from my husband and I to stay in. Right off the DLR line, City Stay offers a friendly place to stay that is close to everything (it's all only a tube ride away). They offer breakfast downstairs in a style that makes you feel like you're at home. Would highly recommend for a short stay in London!

Had single room with double bed, which was clean and comfortable,ensuite shower was fine. Only thing missing was a flat surface to put things on. Breakfast was a do it yourself in the kitchen

The hotel was clean and the staff were very pleasant. My room was at the front, street level of the hotel and was a bit noisy, but otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Hotel was convenient for Victoria Park and Bow Street station. Room was in the basement, little ventilation through a small window down a narrow corridor in the room. Not sufficient but there was a fan in the room which was noisy if left switched on. Bed linen was clean but worn with holes in the sheet. Bathroom was basic - no plug in sink but the water drained so slowly the basin filled up. Shower wasn't used as it didn't look clean enough - though the toilet and sink looked fine. Residents lounge and kitchen left a bit to be desired too. I opted not to make my own breakfast

All linen and rooms were clean and fresh, if a bit tacky.

This is the second time I haved stayed here. A very nice, clean and tidy hotel. Ideal for short breaks.

Clean and good facilities are all I required for my one night stay. Staff helpful and polite.
