City Stay Hotel London Reviews page 4
Based on 66 Hotel ReviewsValue of money. Good location and clean
Location of City Stay Hotel London is just great for the money, DLR stations is literally next door, same as city bus station and National express bus from the Stanstad, underground is about 400m far away but still fine. Across the road is a gas station where you can buy some food or you can have a walk (about 1km) to Tesco, but we were fine with the gas station. We stayed in the bottom room with our own bathroom, which was quite good (ladies don't forget your bath cap). However the bad was horror! Everyday we walked from 5 - 10km and we're not able to have a rest on it any single day. The man on reception seemed to be really tired and we annoyed him (based from the expression of his face). Wi-fi connection was great, maybe because the router was just behind our doors. Breakfast is not prepared for you! You simply have to go downstairs to the shared kitchen and make it by yourself. The only food which is supplied every day is cereals, milk, tea, bread, jam, eggs, butter, some cookies and we got some fruits twice in a 5 days. After breakfast you have (you're supposed to do that) to clean the dishes, of course you buy your own food and then put it into fridge (kitchen closes at 12:00) I recommend this hotel for others, but please be aware of that bed, I still have a pain in my back after a week
Great location. Local tube and bus access. Market and pub.
The City Stay Hotel London had a good room size with modern bathroom and television. However, it had thin walls. You have to wash up after yourself and some families hogged the food, like bread, so you could not use it yourself!
Very good place. We (my wife and I) loved everything. Maybe they should install an exhaust fan in the bath room.
Very clean and polite service at City Stay Hotel London
The City Stay Hotel London was in an ideal area for where I wanted to stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were of an ok standard, not luxury but clean and comfortable which is all I wanted. The lounge area was a bonus and the use of the kitchen was a nice touch. I would come back here again when I next visit.
The City Stay Hotel is very simple. The rooms are quite small, but everything was clean and ok. The shower and TV were working and in a good state. The location is not in the centre, but there are two tube stations nearby, one immediately around the corner, so you can be in the centre of London in around 20min. In summary: since the price was very low, as an overall rating I'd say the hotel is good, I would go there again!
Pleasant stay. We loved the breakfast system and dining area. Overall, we are happy
Lovely clean room. Plumbing needs perfecting. Breakfast/eating facilities a perfect solution
