I have no complaints about this hotel. Fine place to sleep for one night, people were nice to me and it was not lacking cleanliness. I would stay again if in Glasgow
Charing Cross Hotel was pretty good value for money. We stayed two nights and our room was clean and simple. The staff were relatively friendly and the location was central
The stay was fine. We had a good clean room and en suite bathroom. The breakfast was very good! The hotel is fairly close to the City Centre, and just down from the Glasgow School of Art. Also nearby is a superb park and museums. Its however a bit noisy being close to the motorway
I thought the hotel was quite satisfactory for my needs and in a very central location and good value. I was unable to access ITV Scotland TV channel and also experienced the same problem in Ayr
The Charing Cross Hotel is a good budget hotel near the city centre. The breakfast was very good.
The staff were helpful and friendly, but the room I stayed in could do with decorating, having a hair dryer available, and having a new bed. The room smelt of something, but not sure what? It would not be my first choice again.
OK hotel. Very thin walls. Nice staff.
Stayed 2 (separate) nights - good and not so good... Bedrooms were clean (as were the common areas) but in one the window didn't quite close properly and the heater couldn't be switched off. One of the dining room staff didn't go far enough outside for a quick smoke and the smell crept into the dining room. However, the breakfast was good! For the price, the hotel's good value - I'd stay again.
Could do with a bit of work on doing the place up. If you’re just looking for somewhere to stay the night this place is ideal. Nothing fancy and no frills.
