Excellent value for money with warm friendly staff. A cosy place and I was fortunate to have one of the newly renovated bedrooms. I was impressed with the service because I had a 6am start and the staff showed great hospitality and prepared breakfast especially for me before the specified time. Breakfast went down a treat! I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on a budget

The hotel is fine for the price we paid. The only negative we experienced was arriving at 11am and not being able to get a room even just for a shower after travelling for 24 hours. The hotel staff are completely inflexible in making any arrangement outside of their normal routine - it would have taken 10 minutes to get a room cleaned and ready - they need some serious training in customer care

The accomodation clearly states 'Economy Stay' and economy indeed it was. The bedroom was just okay but the amenities need improving. There was only 2 towels and no toiletries and the shower head was faulty. The full English breakfast was terribly awful. And it was the full English option which caused us to choose this hotel over others. We were served literally 2 teaspoons of baked beans and some manufactured meat instead of proper bacon, 2 tiny slices of bread and weird sausages. The staff were polite but very mechanical. They need to appear a bit warmer and customer friendly

Very basic accomodation, perfect for a 1-2 night stay

Staff proved to be highly irresponsible and non cooperative

Nice little place, easy to get to from the train station and in a quiet area, so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. We thought it was good value for money, all the staff were helpful from the receptionist to the waiters, and enjoyed our stay. The only minor point was that the rooms are a bit old, but everything worked fine, and there was a great consevatory for breakfast. Would stay again.

I booked the hotel for a night and I had a great time. The staff were very helpful and the room was decent, I really enjoyed it!!
