Bankside House Reviews page 4
Based on 114 Hotel ReviewsBankside House is good value for money, the location is superb being just behind the Tate Modern and the Millenium bridge. Breakfast is good. A faulty lightbulb was replaced quickly. Our room was quite noisy being close to the lifts
Awesome, great location, good food, clean and very friendly staff. Thanks
Stayed just for a Saturday night. Check in was fine. Room was ok bearing in mind the price paid and the location: basic but clean. Several tour groups of European children. Fortunately they seem to be allocated in another wing, and we had a completely undisturbed night. Although there was quite a queue for breakfast, it moved quickly, and I was very impressed with the overall quality and choice. Where it all went wrong was check-out. Check-out has to be by 10:30. At 10, we went down to witness a scene reminiscent of the transfer desk at Heathrow when the airport is closed because of snow. I still don't know what everyone was queuing for, because we had all pre-paid, and all we had to do was hand in a key. My partner simply squeezed through, placed the key on the counter, and with a quick "I simply don't have time for this", turned and left
Great value for money. Recommended for its central location. Not if you are sensitive to noise
Good location, staff very helpful, breakfast was very good
Clean basic room as expected for student hall. Would have been very quiet considering city location except for very loud fan outside, though not a problem with earplugs
Great accommodations. Pleasant, helpful people. Good location. Outstanding breakfasts.
Greatly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Bankside House to others for a very comfortable and affordable place to stay in London.
Well, nothing to say but, very nice week. My client enjoyed all aspects. Location, space in the room, shower, etc. Quite busy though. Nice place
It was nice and comfortable. Good location and good pricing, not too expensive. The bedroom was clean and well equiped. The only thing I missed was wifi access
