Basic accommodation but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely use this hotel again and would recommend to anybody looking for a budget hotel in the area

The staff were pleasant. The room wasn't great. There was a really noisy gas heater in our room which kept us awake. There was a sign not to switch it off but eventually we had to. The room also had a strong smell of cleaning products and I awoke with a headache that lasted all day. There was mold in the bathroom. Maybe some of the other rooms were different

Very fine 2 separate beds, and bath and toilet even a refrigerator. The room was also proper clean. And proper breakfast also. And then it was very cheap. But quite small room

Basic accommodation, fridge, television, bed and a shower, and also a clothes cupboard. Staff pleasant, but no one on reception after 22.00, so you are provided with your own key, to get in and out

Very basic, not a bad room. Toilet leaked and shower wasn't very good but overall it was okay. Continental breakfast very bland which comprised of cold boiled eggs, sliced ham, sliced cheese, orange squash and toast, tea and coffee

The room was comfortable. Equipped with a kitchenette and an inside bathroom, it was a good deal. The staff was very polite. I prolonged my stay for 3 days. Breakfast may be improved. A point worth mentioning is, for early lodgers check-in time be earlier

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast with plenty of hot toast, good selection of jams, pity the coffee maker was broken (not a big fan of instant coffee). Double bed was very lumpy in one of the rooms, the springs were so hard you could feel them just by moving your hand over the mattress. Our family room was given to another family which was a bit disappointing as we'd looked specially for a hotel that offered a room for 5. But they did give us two good rooms for the same price. Plenty of closet space, bit strange that the cupboard was placed in front of a mirror though. Toilet pot looked a bit dirty

Actually in the morning the staff is nice and friendly, but at night the staff is disagreeable, hostile, antipathetic. Very bad

Very clean and comfortable rooms, toilet fine. Breakfast good value for money. The reception though was quite rude.

Stayed here overnight, friendly staff, room clean, breakfast good, close to tube couldn't have asked for anything more, would use the Athena Palace Hotel again without hesitation
