Windsor House Hotel is a decent budget hotel, sparse and simple and a little rough at the edges, but friendly, good value, decent staff and excellent location. It's a cheap budget hotel in a rather pleasant part of London that enabled me to stay for a long weekend with a family of five when the cost would have been prohibitive elsewhere. The rooms are simple but homely and the location is excellent, in Earl's Court just round the corner from the Tube Station. The owners are a friendly family who were pleasant and obliging. A 'hands-off' management style is overall a good thing and my family was not pestered for the duration of our stay. In safety terms, the hotel ticks all the boxes. Overall it's a pleasant enough place to stay and good value. I would be happy to book Windsor House Hotel again

Clean accommodation. Small bathroom. Would have preferred tea/coffee making facilities in the room rather than having to go down to the kitchen which closed at 10pm. Staff friendly and did open the kitchen at gone 11pm so that we could make a drink

A very convenient location (3 minutes walk to the Earls Court Tube station); clean room (we took the one with 5 beds). Friendly staff. Sort of basic as regards breakfast and shower and sound insulation could be better, but indeed a good value for money and a decent place for a night sleep. No complaints. I'd definitely consider staying again for another short visit.

The kitchen is open to use, which is very good! but the receptionist is impolite and not helpful. i hope they can improve this

The room was quite clean, the staff were OK and the location was perfect, the only bad thing to highlight is that the we booked a 5 people room with bathroom and wasn't specified that the bathroom wasn't provided with shower!!! Nothing special at all, next time i will go somewhere else.

The Windsor House is a great place for a family or friends to stay in the heart of London. It is a no frills B and B that offers all the essential necessities with a helpful friendly staff in one of the best locations in London. Two minutes walk from Earls Court station with shopping and pubs all nearby. The building is old but clean and well kept, very quiet for having 18 rooms and the kitchen being available is a nice touch. I would stay here on future trips to London for the location alone, not to mention the budget price.

As a hotel it's in the centre and very near to the station. It's clean with a very helpful staff. The only negative point is that the toilet was outside. I recommend this hotel

For the location of the Windsor House Hotel and the money you pay, it really is worth putting up with the small niggles of the hotel. The breakfast wasn't amazing but it was ok, all the bedding and sheets are clean and they gave us an extra towel when asked

I have a very low opinion on the Windsor House Hotel. The people at the reception were very unfriendly, the room was dirty, in a deplorable state and very, very small. The bathroom was even more decrepid. The breakfast service consisted of a slice of stale white bread and cold coffee, served by an indifferent waitress.In short, I will never go back there and regret the fact that our stay was not what we expected it to be. I do hope this opinion will also be placed on the website, since I chose this hotel on the basis of all the enthusiastic reviews
