We enjoyed our first stay in Scotland very much and staff at Victorian House Hotel were very polite and helpful. The room was clean but could do with some updating eg shower area and mattress was uncomfortable. The location of hotel was excellent and we would definitely stay again. Thank you

We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly which is so important when you are in a different country. The rooms were large and clean and the breakfast was unbelievable. Loved those Scottish Oak cakes.

Very comfortable B&B/hotel with an excellent breakfast room and good service. Victorian House was very reasonably priced, clean and well appointed and managed. Always a problem is getting heavy suitcases up stairs, so my suggestion is that consideration be given to a sloping path rather than stairs from the street to the front door. We would stay there again if we revisit Glasgow.

Nice and central, reasonably priced, only qualm was that we were not made aware of the breakfast time and therefore missed breakfast

I stayed in this hotel for four nights. The hotel is in a good location, close to city centre and numerous shops. The room was spacious and a cot was provided for my 6 month old baby. The Scottish/English style breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. But there are some negative points. There is absolutely no normal access for disabled people and for those with baby in pram or pushchair. If I knew about that I would definitely select other hotel. In conclusion, the hotel offers good service and value for money but if you are with a baby in pram or pushchair, select other hotel because the steps may become a serious problem

Excellent service, for all facilities. The hotel Staff was very helpful. Breakfast area and bedroom very clean and tidy. Food was excellent

Nice hotel and friendly staff, good selection for breakfast, clean and tidy rooms. Only drawback was 93 steps from street level to our rooms at the top. But overall good hotel, would stay again, good value for money
