Victor Hotel London Victoria Reviews page 2
Based on 21 Hotel ReviewsPleasant stay at Victor Hotel, although I would have benefitted from an elevator and a more stable wifi
This lovely old hotel is now showing the signs of total lack of interest by its owners and indeed its staff!!! New carpets, a lick of paint and some up to date furniture would make this a hotel worthy of its area. So close to all you need to get to in London but a sad little place with peeling wall paper and scruffy fittings. The staff were as sad and would not even look at you at breakfast (in a silent room due to lack of music etc) apart from a lovely girl at reception on the night we arrived we were hardly spoken to.
I enjoyed my stay and will be going back to Victor Hotel
Victor Hotel is near by Victoria Station which is good for the tourists. The hotel is clean but the only downfall is there is no exhaust fan in my bathroom so the smell comes out to my bedroom. Hope they could sort it out for benefits of their customers. For the positive note, breakfast room is clean and the waitress is friendly
Hotel OK - room very small, but clean and adequate. Towels changed every day (3-day stay). Staff pleasant. There is apparently no difference in room location - all are charged at the same rate (obviously single rooms are slightly lower)
We had a very friendly welcome at Victor Hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and we really appreciated all the service. Thank you
Great budget hotel. Clean, tidy and staff were very helpful and Pleasant. Close to Victoria Station which has god transport links for anyone wanting to get around. Would book Victor Hotel again
For the first time I stayed in a place where everything was perfect. Excellent breakfast, nice staff and perfect on the size of the room which was cleaned everyday. When in London I will book Victor Hotel again and again
The Victor Hotel is in a great location between Victoria Station and Pimlico Tube Stations (and about a 25 minute walk to Buckingham Palace). There are lots of nice places to eat and drink around the local area. Our hotel room was fairly standard decor with a t.v, tea/coffee making facilities, extra blankets/pillows and very clean. The room was cleaned and towels replaced each of the three days of our stay. The breakfast room could do with being a little bigger as people were queing to have breakfast both mornings I went in. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast (tea/coffee, toast/croissant, cereal and fruit). Overall our stay at The Victor Hotel was pleasant and seemed reasonably priced for central London. I would have no problem using this hotel in London again
Myself and my 2 daughters booked in 2 nights at the Victor Hotel because we planned to go to London Fashion Week on Thursday 21 February 2013. The hotel is only a short distance from Victoria Coach Station and the Railway Station approx 10 minutes walk and very easy to find- its just one long straight road. Staff at Reception are friendly and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable, warm, basic but very clean. We stayed on the ground floor in a family room, 1 double bed, 1 single bed. At night the hotel was quiet, and we did not hear any noise from outside either! The dining area, although quite small is clean and accommodating and we had plenty to eat each morning. I would recommend the Victor Hotel, and would stay there again on another enjoyable visit to London
