City London Hotel Reviews page 2
Based on 39 Hotel ReviewsI stayed in a single, ensuite room at The Bridge Hotel which was very comfortable, clean and adequate for my 3 night stay. The room had a kettle, tea, coffee, water, fruit and toiletries, shampoo and soap etc. provided. A TV and fan AC. It also had a small fridge and table which was handy. The breakfast was very good value for money, nicely cooked and served in a comfortable basement room. The location was great, very close to Elephant and Castle and Borough tube stations. The staff were friendly and helpful
This Bridge Hotel has an excellent location. Elephant and Castle and other tubes are nearby but the Boris bikes are closer with an easy pedal up cycle lanes to Westminster and the West End. The hotel tries hard but struggles. An option for a shared bathroom is fine, but the only hand basin is in the toilet cubicle which seems a bit odd it would be nice to have a small basin in the room even if showers and toilets elsewhere. The WiFi is really flakey: try somewhere else if there's work to be done. The TV stopped working and wasn't sorted as promised. However that was a work of the remote and eventually I found somewhere who knew this but it took many hours. Those fussy about health and safety might note some tired carpets not fastened down and curling up at the corners, and the second floor room whose fire exit is the same narrow staircase used to arrive. It is very clean there's daily fruit and mineral water and a fridge to store stuff. Overall convenient but just a bit disappointing
Very friendly, very clean. Great value for money. We all had a brilliant time. Many thanks, I would book The Bridge Hotel again
On arriving at The Bridge Hotel I was given Rosehip tea and a very warm welcome. The breakfast (vegetarian) was delicious, the hospitality throughout the stay, delightful
All of the amenities offered by this hotel were correct. The safe in the room was useful and the WiFi signal was acceptable in our room. It was clean and tidy and the staff were efficient and kind. However I do not feel that I got a fair deal, as I had to pay more than I would have liked for the hotel, and for such a price it was not up to standard. The rooms were small and incongruently decorated. The dining area was pleasant but the food was not up to the desired standard. I would stay again for a reduction in price
I stayed 1 night in The Bridge Hotel. It was very convenient to City centre. Room was quite small but was very clean and adequate for us. It was reasonably priced as London prices go and we got a free buffet breakfast in the morning which was a nice touch I thought. Dining room was very quirky and cute, also staff were very helpful and friendly
We chose the Bridge Hotel for value and closeness to Waterloo and South Bank, travelled to London for graduation. Both proved accurate. Hotel in a rubbish location, no restaurant for evening meal and only a supermarket pub and kebab shop!! But staff lovely, rooms small but clean and comfy. Breakfast well worth having the breakfast room was really amazing, very exotic, if that had been available for evening meals and drinks they would have made a fortune out of the party of 4 of us as we stayed at South Bank after ceremony and paid ridiculous amounts for food and drink. Overall, if you are looking for a budget London hotel that tries to pull the stops out for you look no further. Blissful nights sleep, very quiet despite location and manager gave us an extra hour to check out on morning two due to raging hangovers, which we were most grateful for
Hotel was fine. The Bridge Hotel staff were very helpful indeed and the breakfast was o.k.
Me and my boyfriend loved the room at The Bridge Hotel, it was lovely and cosy we will come again. The location is great opposite is my uni. Thank you very much to all the staff who were very friendly and helpful :)
In terms of value for money, The Bridge Hotel is a decent enough venue. I found the room to be clean and the bed comfortable. The storage for clothing was adequate and was surprised to see bottled water and fruit laid out for me. To my surprise, I had a fridge large enough to store bottles. The hotel manager was very helpful and hospitable. I would stay there again
