Swinton Hotel Reviews page 6
Based on 103 Hotel ReviewsSwinton hotel was well located for both Heathrow and the city. Budget hotel but welcoming, warm, clean, good value for money.
I booked a double room but was given a triple room. The TV didn't work, the water wasn't fresh and I wasn't impressed with the breakfast. The shower was OK but the towels were very small.
The hotel smelled of cigarettes, the room was very small, smelled musty and was also very cold. It was very basic and the shower sprayed the bathroom so the floor was always wet. The towels were horrible - really small, hard and well worn. On the plus side, the hotel was only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross and there were plenty of complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee and bottles of water in the room. Overall, I will not stay again and will definitely not recommend this hotel.
Broken facilities, dirty carpets and room smelled.
Our stay at the Swinton was good and average for a one night stay. The beds were very comfy but a few things could have been modernised such as the televsion and phone in the room. The breakfast was nice too and there was a good choice of cereal, toast, croissants, ham, cheese and bread rolls. It was a bit noisy at first as it was on main road but it did quieten down. I would recommend to others if staying for a night or two
Ok but could still hear traffic, so can't sleep much. No chair in room, and very small
No problems, allowed to check in early, small room but clean bright and adequate for a short stay, good shower, continental breakfast was varied and sufficient
Swinton Hotel was very clean but rather pokey. Everything was provided and the breakfast was good but I felt it was rather over priced
Very clean, very friendly staff, lovely continental breakfast
Conveniently located for King Cross St Pancras Station. Warm welcome and lovely room, with modern en suite facility. Unfortunately on one of the nights there was a party at a neighbouring property. We heard through the wall and we didnt manage to get much sleep.
