Stamford Street Apartment Rooms Reviews page 2
Based on 116 Hotel ReviewsValue for money in a very central location. You get what you pay for, a reasonable bed, shower, loo, desk and a shred kitchen if you wish to use it. Only downside was breakfast; on neither of my two day stay was I listed as staying for breakfast at the 'canteen' until I advised them.
Rooms were very clean, especially the lovely crisp white bedding and towels. Bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. A nice touch was the collection of toiletries. Good shower and storage space. Overall, very pleasant and would recommend.
This place is fantastic. You have to be aware that it is student accommodation but the facilities are great and the location cannot be beaten.
I definitely felt very safe here, the security was great. Even better was the location really close to Waterloo and all of the attractions of the Southbank. I had such a good time in this area, there’s loads to do and see. The reception guys were really nice, and the room was great. It was quite big and although it was a bit sterile, it had everything I needed. It was nice to be able to prepare my own food in a decent sized communal kitchen and do my washing and so on. The price was reasonable for what it came with and in such a great area you can’t say fairer than that. I’ll definitely book again next time I’m in town
Very good staff, very good price and very good location at Stamford Street Apartment Rooms
My stay at Stamford Street Apartment Rooms met my criteria for a great stay. Staff greeted with a smile. Security faultless. Room comfortable with all necessary provisions and clean towels. Good to have the option of a hot breakfast if gratis continental not wanted. Dining hall attractive and immaculate. Females feel safe travelling alone
This London accommodation is conveniently located for central London with easy access to all transport from nearby Waterloo Station. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful - making check-in quick and easy. The accommodation blocks are relatively modern with plenty of security locks to ensure guest safety. There are also lifts to each floor. The rooms are straightforward, light and airy - each with a fridge (very useful) and an ensuite bathroom. There is a kitchen on each floor - but no cutlery or crockery, so I was only able to make use of the microwave in order to heat food, but had to use plastic cutlery from the supermarket. The beds are reasonably comfortable if you're only staying for a couple of nights. Rooms facing away from Stamford Street are best, as they traffic noise is then reduced. The breakfasts: minimal and rather disappointing - and particularly tricky if you want something other than pastries and sugary cereals. (There are of course plenty of other breakfast options at nearby cafes etc.) For the price, this is as good a deal as you'll find in Central London over the summer
The location of Stamford Street Apartment Rooms was close to Waterloo and it was easy to get around central London. But if you want to eat out there is not many places to choose from in the Waterloo area. So I would get the underground To other parts of London. The first night I stayed there was a lot of noise I couldn't sleep till 3am but told the staff and they were able to move me to another block. It turns out it was not music but someone snoring very loudly. My remaining 3 nights were good and the other room had nicer views looking ou the bedroom window. Make sure to bring your own cups and cutlery as the paper or plastic cups that were supplied We're not so good. I would stay here again in future. The staff were kind friendly and helpful. Also the hot water if you wanted to take a shower, take it early morning before all the hot water goes
The service was good at Stamford Street Apartment Rooms and the breakfast was good too but everything in the room was really old
