Southside Halls Reviews page 2
Based on 10 Hotel ReviewsThis is a gem. I have stopped in a few low priced hotels in London but this does not belong in that category. The rooms are clean and larger than many rooms in London hotels. The location is excellent being near to three museums and within easy walking distance to the tube station. Not only that you have Hyde Park and Kensington gardens on your doorstep. The hot breakfast was good but a little cold by the time you had collected it and found a table. I wound highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to London
I stayed there with comfortable. Good reception and nice room. I hope to visit there again when I spend night in London. Thanks very much indeed
Clean, quiet and first class receptionists
Lovely bright newish build in nice surroundings. Long walk from tube for those with limited walking. Booking polite and friendly but a little dis-organised. Previous guest had not checked out so receptionist had to run to room to ensure it had been cleaned. It had. Room was in basement and as lone female I did not feel safe with window opening to dark quiet area of ground. Room was partially cleaned with clean bedding etc but previous guests toiletries still in the shower. Second room was a lovely double, 4th floor. Cleaner appeared to wipe surfaces with dirty cloth which left side sticky and grubby instead of clean. Did not provide adequate loo roll
Very convenient for our arrival at Paddington, just a walk across Hyde Park and our visit to the V and A. Arriving the same time as the International Paeleontology Congress meant there were delays in checking in and breakfast was rather challenging with so many people. All the staff we friendly and helpful so a good experience for us
