Rainbow Hostel
If you are a backpacker or tourist on a budget that’s planning a visit to Dublin then it makes sense to stay in the centre of the city, within walking distance of most of the main attractions and the Busaras bus station. Rainbow Hostel is located on Marlborough Street, literally one minute from O’Connell Street and five minutes walk from the Temple Bar district. Rainbow Hostel is clean and roomy hostel; its welcoming and pleasant staff will make it feel like a home from home.
Rainbow Hostel has a great atmosphere. You’ll be staying in a dormitory with up to fifteen beds in it and clean, fresh linen is provided. Each dormitory has locks on the door to help you feel safe and secure. There’s a really nice lounge area with TV, video and internet access for guests, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with free tea, coffee and sugar. The fabulous rooftop garden holds some great BBQ’s during the summer months so there plenty of ways to get to know other people.

The fun doesn’t end at Rainbow Hostel. O’Connell Street, filled with shops is the next street parallel to Marlborough. Street. You’ll probably be more attracted to Temple Bar that’s bursting with nightlife including clubs and pubs to suit any taste and budget; it’s only a five minute walk away. Some historical attractions such as Dublin Castle and Trinity College are within walking distance too.

- By Bus
Take bus number 41 from Dublin Airport and this will take you directly to Marlborough Street where the Rainbow Hostel is located.
If you take the express bus from Dublin Airport, number 747, this will take you to the Busaras, which is the main bus stop in Dublin.
- On Foot
From the Busaras get off the bus onto Talbot Street and walk towards the city centre. You will reach a junction with Marlborough Street, where Rainbow Hostel is located.
