Hotel was well presented. Our room had a strong smell and it was very noisy, with sounds from someone else's shower and the traffic from the road. Our beds were very springy and you sunk well into them, my bed slat even broke during the night. The pillows were very flat but if you rolled it up it was ok. Breakfast was delicious on both sides of the hotel (continental and full English!) however full English you have to pay extra for. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the New Pembury Hotel.

The hotel was clean, nicely situated. Near busses and undergroud. Near finsbury park. Friendly personel. Free carpark. We slept in the Queens Wing. Very small room and small bathroom

My only complaint New Pembury Hotel is there is no air conditioning which made the stay difficult. The place was clean and the staff were friendly - they said the boss refuses to put in air conditioning because we're in England - which was bizarre. Luckily Inwas only staying one night

Liked the services and the environment of the hotel

The New Pembury Hotel is a good London hotel, close to Finsbury Tube Station and is only 10 mins from Oxford street and 1 minute from Arsenal. The rooms are quite small but do the job for sleeping.  I could hear a lot of noise from the room I was staying in, i.e. doors banging and people on stairs. The staff are friendly.

The New Pembury Hotel makes no pretence at being anything it is not, which makes it a reassuringly cheap place to stay in a fairly central location in our capital city. We used it as a base for both a concert at Alexandra Palace and a day spent wandering around central London. The room was small but very clean, had basic tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed. The shower in the en-suite was fantastic - a massive shower head and lots of hot water! You will need to bring a bottle or glass for water since the hotel doesn't provide that, and the heating is turned up to such an extent that you will otherwise entirely dessicate overnight! Overall - I'd book the New Pembury Hotel again. Very good value for money and super friendly and helpful staff

It looked very nice in the reception area but our room was very basic. In the bathroom all things were hanging half off the wall. The kettle didn't work and it was not possible to fill the kettle from the sink tap. No bedside tables but we did have a third bed and cot. However it was cheap
