Clean, pleasant London accommodation. Suited us very well for one night

I had nice stay at New Market House. I want to say just about your sitting place for breakfast, need to improve quality of your chairs and tables. The food for breakfast was ok

I was unable to rest due to the noise of the street and lack of double glazing, and someone in the next room constantly going into and out of the room.

New Market House was small, but suitable for what it is! Decent bed, loved the bathroom

Lovely and pleasant clean room and bathroom at New Market House. Very small but compact and provided all you need. Lively bar downstairs for a couple of drinks should you fancy it. A handy shop is next door too for snacks or essentials. Continental breakfast was lovely. Only complaint is the shower was cold and I see from other reviews that this is an issue thats been mentioned before. I would also say it's more than a 10 min walk from Caledonian Rd tube and one stretch of rd was quite derelict and as a woman walking in the evening alone with luggage looking for the hotel I was getting a little nervous. Aside from that I was pleasantly surprised with the actual accommodation

New Market House was perfect for a few days! We stayed in a double bedroom with private bathroom. It was clean, warm and quiet. Comfortable bed. The bedroom had TV, electric kettle (instant coffee, tea bags, sugar, milk available in the room), a small wardrobe and free wifi. The bathroom was small, but very modern. The towels were changed and the bedroom cleaned daily. The continental breakfast included everything we expected and was more than enough. Staff was friendly. 10/15min walking to the Underground (then, quite quick to city centre and Piccadilly Line). Potential downsides: our room was on a fourth floor served only by stairs, the bedroom wasn't big (although it suited us), and we were a bit suspicious about the safety of that city area, so we never arrived late at night

The room at New Market House was very nice and had a nice bed and bathroom. However it wasn't the easiest place to find and in the room they had bits to make coffees/teas but no mugs or cups were provided in the room. The 10am check out time was a little too early. None the less the room was nice and good for the one night stay ad the staff were friendly

Booking was easy through the Travelstay website. I'd booked last minute, but room was ready by the time I'd arrived. New Market House is a 3 minute bus ride on the 390 from King's Cross Station. Room was small but well-heated and cosy and the en suite bathroom/shower was clean and functional. Room was cleaned everyday. Basic continental breakfast buffet was available. Main complaint would be the quality of the free wi-fi which wasn't up to scratch. If you're planning to do some serious work on your laptop, would make another choice. Other than that was good value
