Merchant City Inn Reviews page 2
Based on 16 Hotel ReviewsGood value for money with no frills. Breakfast early but first class
It was a very enjoyable stay quite an amazing place, would like to know more about the history of the house. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice
Merchant Lodge Hotel was clean, however the room was very cramped and noisy late at night. There was cigarette smoke drifting through the window as the allocated smoking spot was immediately beneath. The breakfast was of a low quality though plenty of it! Good location and pleasant staff!
Rooms very compact, but clean enough. No lifts and we were on top level. Carrying luggage difficult on windy stairwell. Breakfast first morning fine, not very friendly staff 2nd day. Waited over 10 mins for receptionist whilst on what sounded like a personal call!!
Your hotel is very clean and spotless, I would like to return there in the future. All the staff there are very helpful and friendly. Thank you Mrs Jacqueline Fairfield.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was at the top of the building which proved interesting on my return from works night out as the stairs are around a turret! Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and the breakfast smelt amazing, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to try it.
A nice frendly hotel, staff very professional. Would certainly come back

Booked and then read reviews. Was a bit apprehensive as a lot of reviews were negative. However had a very pleasant visit, rooms basic but very clean with all amenities required for weekend, e.g, tea/coffee, hairdryer etc. Breakfast excellent, location to Central London brilliant. Reception staff very helpful, would definitely return, hopefully at Christmas. Excellent value for money
Our stay that the Merchant Lodge was very welcoming. Staff were helpful and accomodating. The rooms were basic, but clean. Was good value for money. The hotel is based near Merchant City so it can be a little noisy at night, however on the upside it is close to all the shops, pubs and clubs. Will definatley book again
