Madonna Halleys Hotel Reviews page 2
Based on 16 Hotel ReviewsWe were made very welcome. The rooms were clean and the hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere. The garden was spectacular, we will definitely use this hotel again. Thank you for a fantasic stay.
I will not be using this hotel again because of the following; 1. Room looked dirty and tired. 2. Bathroom door latch and lock broken. 3. All window latches broken, one window was jammed slightly open. 4. Shower did not work properly, water only dribbled out of five holes. 5. Full English breakfast advertised as included in the cost, but was not available until 8am, which is when I start work. So, I went to work hungry.
Hotel is a bit tired but very entertaining. We laughed all weekend. The guy who I think does everything in the hotel could not do enough for us and very attentive. We ended up in the attic. The room was clean but the bedding was un ironed. We had a kettle but no base one cup & just three tea bags, two in a packet and one out. No soap in the bathroom so good job I took mine. There was no double glazing and the noise from the traffic was unbelievable, I didn't sleep much at all. We went down to breakfast and there were glasses but no juice, no condiments but cereal and coffee was out on the table. We asked what was for breakfast and he said what do you want and would have done anything that we asked for so we had bacon and eggs but he couldn't do toast. We asked for brown sauce and got ketchup we asked for marmalade and got jam which we found hilarious. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was lovely. We were also entertained by the resident parrot. All in all it wasn't too bad and certainly gave us something to talk about. Would I go again? Probably not
The Madonna Halleys Hotel is a simple but lovely place to stay. It's easy to get too and from, being near the tube and it doesn't feel like you are in he centre of London!
I have stayed here a few times now and it never fails to impress. It's a personal service and always clean and tidy, thanks Madonna Halleys Hotel, see you again next time!
Madonna Halley Hotel and room were lovely and staff a delight. Would want to stay there again
Really nice building inside and out, not sure if it's a family run business though as the weekend staff were really pleasant and helpful but the Monday morning staff were a bit less friendly. Room was clean and tidy, had a slight problem with the bathroom but as soon as we mentioned it, it was dealt with within a couple of hours. Excellent value for money overall and would certainly book to stay again. It has a lot of potential to be a great B&B.
Pleasant hotel, helpful staff. Handy for Canon's Park, only three stops to Wembley Stadium.
This was our 4th visit to the hotel and we were very disappointed indeed. Our room was very cold and not the usual comfortable ambiance we have enjoyed to date. The staff as usual are always very helpful and friendly. Great location for access to A1/M1 so may go back next summer.
This place was clean and tidy but very out dated. The bathroom adjacent to our bedroom was the worst bathroom I have ever seen. Cracked and leaking toilet, cracked basin, bath enamel cracked, dripping taps. No curtains at the bedroom window, I could go on. The young man at reception did his best but the place needs renovation, about half a million quid should do it. Stay here as a last resort only.
