Our stay at Lodge 51 London was good and up-to standard and we had no problems at all. Despite the busy time the nights were quiet and we could leave or arrive at the hotel without a problem

Lodge 51 is a nice hotel in London with friendly staff. It's not too fancy, but what do you expect for a 2-star London hotel. Nice backyard. 8 minute walk to the Stratford shopping mall and the tube.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean when we got there and towels were changed everyday. Beds were also made everyday and possibly changed. I went with a friend and we had a very pleasant stay. Internet worked perfectly and we had access to many English channels on the t.v in the room. The only negative I could find was that dust seemed to fall on everything over the course of a day. This was possibly due to movement from the room above us. Other then that I found my stay at this London accommodation very comfortable and would book Lodge 51 London again

One of the best budget accommodations I've ever stayed while in London. It's located near a wide range of options for shopping (such as a shopping center and supermarket). There are no complaints in regards to my room, you get what you pay for. Though 51 Romford Road - Accommodation to Let strikes me as a multi bedroom house renovated into an apartment. But they offered free WiFi so I did not mind

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Lodge 51 for 4 nights. The location is fine, a lot of cheap pubs and restaurants around and it takes about 20-30 minutes to the centre of London by subway. The room was really small, not very clean and very noisy. We were lucky that our neighbours left after our first night, we could almost exactly hear what they said. The kitchen is nice and clean, but we didn't use it, because of the cheap restaurants around. We slept in a 1.40m bed, not really a double and there wasn't much room for anything else in the room. The staff are very friendly. Overall a fine stay, but probably because we were out of the room all day and our neighbours had left

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, nice and relaxed. Only a 10 minute walk from the station. I stayed in a triple room with private bathroom. Bedroom was nice and warm with LCD TV and Sky (awesome!) Bathroom was very small though, but good enough. Shower was regular sized. This was easy enough to find; exit left at Stratford Station, keep on until you reach traffic lights, cross over to Morrisons and walk along the pavement which will go left. Lodge 51 is on Romford Road.

The disappointing problem was the bed sunk to the floor when I sat on it. It was only adjusted with pieces of wood after I reported the issue to the reception. Contrary to my belief, I expected to be allocated a new room with an apology, but I did not get that service, hence I checked out the same day

It is a quiet place which is good. The only problems are,there is no writing desk and chair in the guest room and secondly, there is no intercom in the room as well. The staff were very good in discharging their duties

It was loud, because the room (ground floor) was between the kitchen and the main house door. So most of the time we heard opening and closing doors, "traffic in the kitchen", steps from the room above, and so on... (There is also a very busy main road in front of the hotel!). However, the room was clean!
